Multi Stage moulds

Multi-stage moulds range from single cavity cold runner design to multi-cavity, multi-drop hot runner manifold design. This type of mould design is used for complex parts which would otherwise be impossible to eject from the mould

During the design of a multi-stage mould, close attention will be paid to the choice of steel, runner system, water circuits, feed points, venting, split lines and all other technical aspects that will prolong the life of the mould and minimise downtime during maintenance whilst maximising efficiency to achieve the lowest possible cycle time.
